It’s a sales pitch in disguise. The parts about future problems may be accurate (I did not fact-check the numbers, but the concept is well-known) but it quickly turns into a “buy my book” situation.

This is true, but very self serving. They sell investment advice and need to educate and inform people about investing. Investing literacy is very low, so they are in the clear on what they are attempting to communicate.
